Privacy Policy for Action Recorder

Action Recorder is a Chrome extension for recording and replaying browser actions on ordinary web pages.

Data Stored by the Extension

The extension can store user-created recording tasks locally in Chrome storage. A task may include:

• Mouse movement, clicks, double clicks, wheel scrolling, and page scrolling.
• Keyboard keydown and keyup events.
• Form changes on the page.
• Task names, replay intervals, loop settings, click interval settings, and video speed settings.

Password field values are masked and are not saved as plaintext.

How Data Is Used

Recorded data is used only to replay actions in the browser when the user starts playback. Video speed settings are used only to apply the selected playback speed to videos on the current page.

Data Sharing

The extension does not sell, transmit, or share recorded data with third parties. The extension does not use recorded data for advertising, analytics, creditworthiness decisions, or lending decisions.

Remote Code

The extension does not load or execute remotely hosted JavaScript or WebAssembly. All extension code is included in the packaged extension files.

User Control

Users can delete saved tasks inside the extension. Users can also remove the extension from Chrome to delete extension-managed local data according to Chrome's extension storage behavior.
