Data processed
Page Brief AI reads the current page title, URL, selected text, and visible page text only after the user clicks the extension. Local mode does not upload page content.
AI processing
If the user enables proxy mode, page text or selected text is sent to the configured proxy endpoint for AI processing. If the user enables direct Ark mode, the same text is sent to the user's configured Ark-compatible endpoint. API keys entered by the user are stored locally in Chrome.
Storage
The extension stores settings, a local client ID for trial quota, and recent brief history in Chrome local storage.
Sharing
We do not sell user data. Data is not shared except as needed to provide the optional AI processing requested by the user.
